That dyno result showed peak torque further up the rpm than where it was on the 5.0?

Ecoboost .... I am not going to test drive either one... because i just cant afford too... I started looking at them about a week ago and finally started telling myself i dont need a new truck.. but that eco sounds legit:ohnoes:

I would take the 5.0 since they seem to wake up if you just breathe on them in the new mustang. I know it has different cams (from the mustang 5.0), but I would assume Ford is holding it back quite a bit so not to upstage the ecoboost.

I would think the eco, but thats without test driving.. it really could be a dog, and we just dont know!

i don't know but, i always wonder how much the V6 can take. i know GM had good luck with the grand national but it is a lot of stress on the engine with 6 Cyl oppose to 8.. i could be way off here

Personally I`d have to test drive them, BUT if you ever intend to pull a trailer small or big, get the ECOboost, from graphs I`ve seen it has alot of torque down low. :)
