Cool, that's the stuff I'm looking at getting in the one kit they have.
That's a good kit, do you already have the PC or are you getting one from another place?

If you have any questions about the products just ask and we'll try to get them answered for you. Once you use the stuff you will be hooked.

I do not have the PC yet. I want to order that kit plus a gallon of the Car Wash Shampoo this weekend with their 15% off sale. I plan on getting the PC from Amazon in another 2 weeks (next pay check).

I can't wait to get the truck all shined up. Hopefully it'll look brand new!!!

My plan is to wash, clay bar the whole truck, swirl & haze remover, fine machine polish, and follow up with the machine super wax. Does that sound good?

This will be my very first full detail of a vehicle. :fingersx:

After all this, how good will the truck look after just rinsing it off (you know, the dust from sitting outside at night)?

Matt: That's a good plan you've got and it should really make the paint come to life. You can use a little Detail Spray and a microfiber to remove the dust, or some of Adam's Waterless Wash and a microfiber.

Mark: Yes I do plan to get a cover just been busy lately and money has been going in other directions.:uhoh:

Matt: (noregrets) Thanks.

Thanks!

Stupid questions: Should I go over the Z71 decal with the PC? Should I try to use the PC to get in the body line (the one above the rub strip)?

I don't think it will hurt much to get on the decal with the pc, as far as the crease goes just do the best you can with it. You obviously won't be able to get in there perfectly so don't over do it and burn the paint. Use a little caution, as you get the "feel" for the pc you will get better every time you use it.

The pc isn't going to bring a faded decal back to life though.
