Matt, be careful around body lines like that crease. There is less paint there than on the body panels. With the PC, you are less likely to burn it.

I don't think it will hurt much to get on the decal with the pc, as far as the crease goes just do the best you can with it. You obviously won't be able to get in there perfectly so don't over do it and burn the paint. Use a little caution, as you get the "feel" for the pc you will get better every time you use it.

The pc isn't going to bring a faded decal back to life though.
I wasn't worried about making the decal look better. It still looks pretty good for 12yrs. I just didn't want to beat it up and then have to remove it (as much as Tobias would like to see that happen :D).

Alright. I've been watching the new Vol.7 videos on YouTube. I'll watch them again once I get the video.

Stupid questions: Should I go over the Z71 decal with the PC? Should I try to use the PC to get in the body line (the one above the rub strip)?

I'd tape off the decal to be safe. A guy at work went over one a couple times with a cut polish and ripped a decal up a bit. He's an idiot but I would tape it off just in case.

You can get in the body line by using a corner of the pad. It won't take much because that area is probably not very scratched or swirled.

All these years I have only hand waxed, and used the buffer for polishing scratches, etc.

I've been using Adam's for a little over a year now and haven't looked back. I used to spend about 15-20 hours per vehicle with other products that cost 2-3 times as much. I get the similar results in half the time with Adam's. I'm happy with the products.
