It was a journey for sure. I had a party over here at school just to celebrate the victory/completion of it all. Before this the most extensive job I had done was headers so it was a whole new game. As for videos, it's an off balance between days I have time to make videos and days its dry enough to make videos, but my girlfriend got hooked up with one of those new Flip video cameras for free so I've been meaning to try that out. Expect acceleration runs, gauge videos, revving, reactions from passengers, hopefully everything haha.

Nicely done!

Where did you find the S/C?

Ebay! It was a complete kit. The seller had sent the entire kit back to Whipple for them to check it out. The compressor checked out and they even bagged and sealed all the parts and labeled them with whipple stickers and all. Instructions were very vague though. Complete kit, bad instructions.
Damn, why can't I run into stuff like that! :(

Thanks guys, took me a lot longer to get everything done than I ever imagined. But now I have her back with me over here at school. Its like having an old best friend come back into your life that you haven't seen in awhile. :D

I just keep thinking that once I get my truck out from storage from the winter that it will be like getting a new truck. Still can't wait!!

What do you get in terms of MPG's? (if you checked before the S/C and after...I realize most don't care, especially with a 454 )

I never really did the math because I don't want to know  but I used to be able to drive across the state and use 3/4 tank of gas and as soon as I got done with the install I had to go back to school and I had to stop and fill up so I probably used another half tank going 400 miles. I suspect around town Im getting 9 miles to the gallon. It could be worse, at least I have overdrive!
