F'N bouncing...need help!!!

BUMP.. with some new information. so i have my truck in the shop right now and in park or drive with my foot on the brake i try to turn the steering wheel and it's like i almost have no powersteering. .. then i can take my foot off the brake and it just makes the popping clicking noise.

I would look at your rack & pinion, sounds like an internal leak.

Just an update for those with the same problem...
My truck has been in the shop since Wednesday and I got a call Saturday saying it was ready for pickup. I got there Saturday afternooon and my regular service advisor was gone for the day but he left all the paperwork with someone else. I read the paperwork and it said the bounce must be normal because even though they can duplicate it, they can't find anything wrong. Boy was I hot! I actually felt sorry for the poor guy that had my keys and paperwork because he took the abuse of the messenger getting shot with both barrels and he kept a very cool head and he actually agreed with me that he didn't think it was normal.
I left the truck sitting right there that day. This morning (Monday) I called the Service Manager on his cell even before he got into work and told him I did not agree that it was normal and my truck is sitting at his shop waiting for him to test drive and let me know if he thought it was normal.
30 minutes latter he called me and asked if I meant the bounce at 40 mph and I said exactly. He said he will get to the bottom of it.
He called at 3 this afternoon and said they have been in constant contact with the Ford engineers all day and are going through everything the engineers can think of but still haven't found the cause....
They still have the truck but atleast I feel now I have them actually working it.

Have someone drive BEHIND YOU at the speed where it is bouncing.
have them look at the wheels/tires and see where it is coming from.

Have you had the wheels / tires ROAD FORCE balanced?
A good operator on a ROAD FORCE machine can do wonders.

Okay, is it just a problem with lifted trucks????

If so I bet the axle is flexing the springs due to the axle distance from them, the only way to fix that is slam more spring in to get it more rigid or install traction links to the frame from the axle.

yes i have had several RF test done. and that was another thought i had too. maybe the springs are flexing to much. as for the front i think i need to just take off the rack & pinion and check it and get it over with.

ON the plus side. i smoked down my 33's no problem testing out the brakes locking up and getting hot. They are deff. NOT the problem
(called for no but it was fun) i do have to remind it it's a offroad truck not pavement queen

i saw somewhere it might have something to do with the driveshaft being unbalanced... but i have no clue if its true or not

i had the same problem my rear shocks were blown
just any small bump at higher speed i would get a pretty bad bed bouse changed and has gone away

one good brake tork and them rotors are shot...mine has bounced for ever.... rotate your tires and drive it a couple hundred miles...

my power steering wouldnt work with the brakes pushed when my pump and R&P went out.... if you change it... use amsoil power steering fluid.. or royal purple... it will help tons!!

there is also a few fords that have had drive shaft problems.. its hard to diagnose a shake ..bounce wobble on a lifted truck... it could be a trans mount.. loose u bolts... u joints... belt in the tire....

My shocks are new and mine still bounces at 50-55... something else is going on
