Dropped it off at EchoAVU to get the sub and speakers installed

PICS!!!Picked it up... They got all but one set of speakers installed in the time they had to work on it...
On the plus side, I have cargo space again, the sub box looks great, and you can't see my amps![]()
The ECM is slid into a plastic tray thing that is bolted to the coolant overflow tank by 3 10mm bolts. In order to get the ECM out of this plastic tray, you must take the tray out first (with the ECM) otherwise the ECM would hit the overflow fill cap. The hardest part it unplugging the bottom two connectors.Wait, don't the S-series have 3 total (1 on each side after the header, and 1 post-cat)?I'm changing 3 of them...
Two new ones going in before the cat, and one of the pre-cat ones is going after the cat
There was a noticable performance difference with my new cap + rotor![]()
Gotta go figure out how to remove the ECM. Looks like I need to remove 3 screws to get the bracket out that holds it. This is really stupid since the Silverado was just move a big metal strap/clip and slide it out.
Yep... The only important ones are pre-cat, so those are getting the new ones...
The post cat sensor trips the check engine light until I make an appointment to take it into the shop
The o2 sensors on the S-series can actually be bad enough to cause issues without tripping the check engine light
As for the ECM... I'm not sure how that sucker comes outShouldn't be too bad, just be very careful
