:fume::fume::fume: Well my truck has always bounced at 50mph only. well as of the last week or so from 45-50 the rear of the truck bounces violently. my tailgate is just a bouncing up and down and it's shaking the whole truck around. and on top of that yes i still have to get my rack and pinion fix. but what is causing the rear??? i'm going to start by replacing my pads and rotors on the back. i pressed the brake release a couple of times and that didn't help either. but it's only at 45-50

(note) the rack and pinion drives fine just makes the cracking/popping noise when i turn to the right. :dunno:

Just kidding man.. That can't be fun. But once you get all this fixed, hell you should have a lot of NEW parts on the truck..

Does it bounce with weight in the box? I know Ive had problems with trucks bouncing around when empty but ride beatifully with a load on....even a couple hundred pounds. Its a common thing with some of the guys I know with Dodges especially.

Dang man. I dont think you and that truck are ever going to be happy together. If I was you I would trade it on another truck. Ford, chevy, anything. It's in your head that the truck is a piece. Lol.

Time to pass it on!
