The best is either vegetable, or peanut oil. When you change it out, you can have a fish fry too.
The Valvoline will work fine if you are just using it as a daily driver.
Synthetic will give you better protection if you do any hauling or towing and if you run in mud or deep water every now and then.
I agree to keep the same brand for both. Keeps the shelf uncluttered.

Ok, i will got 4 Quarts of 80w-90 Valvoline, 2 for the back, 2 for the front.
i took one of the brackets i dont need off the front differential, and its leaking oil all over the place, so i need 2 new seals 1 for each side and im going to throw a new bearing on the drivers side of it, the same thing i had to do to mine in march, might as well do it when its out.

no, its only 2 remember i only have a 10 bolt, you prolly have a 14 bolt lol
correct, for some reason i though you were throwing in a bigger unit. my bad, must be another forum.

i wish i was, but the 10 bolt is strong enough for me, i dont have huge tires, i dont tow anything, and im not making 500 hp or anything. so its perfect for me lol

Yep, do it right the first time. That way you won't get stranded on the side of the road over some stupid shit you neglected to address when you had the chance.
