Well I knew better than to go out on Saturday. BUT I just needed a few more things.

I was driving through a parking lot (trying to leave) and was waiting for someone to back out of a spot. There's a guy behind me and people walking all over the place. At 3:00 I see this Saturn's reverse lights go on. This guy starts creeping back. I can't go forwards or backwards or do anything. I lay on the horn but this asshat never looks back. Slow motion he backs RIGHT INTO ME!

The damage wasn't too bad, all things considered, but was 100% avoidable. If he had looked in any of his 3 mirrors, or over either of his 2 shoulders he would have seen me. I'm a full size, crew cab Chevy truck. Not hard to miss


Just kinda "creased" the fender. At first, I couldn't even tell whether it was factory or not And FYI, that is 6 days of salt shit accumulation on the truck. 6 days!

I'm still PISSED about this. I held my composure fairly well, and he seemed sorry. Guess I gotta spend some time on the phone today . . .

Oh yeah, any time you drive away from an accident, you can't really complain.

The thing that gets me is that I couldn't do anything about it. I literally sat there and watched him back into me. I think the little lady clawed at the window once or twice!

At least he has the same insurance as me. Not the same agent, but both State Farm. Maybe they won't fWonk me over this time . . .

If I see reverse lights coming out from behind a Full-Size truck, SUV, or van, I'll stop just because I know they can't see a damn thing.

I had that happen to me a few years back, the damn lady tried to say it was my fault and everything, ended up her insurance company calling me to get the true story and going to her doorstep to get the money to pay to fix my car...
