When I replaced my regulator I just used a few strips of masking tape over the top of the door frame to tape the glass in place. :dunno:

I would only buy this if I had a shop and changed window regulators and motors on a regular basis. Other than that, I'll just use a $3 roll of tape.

I would only buy this if I had a shop and changed window regulators and motors on a regular basis. Other than that, I'll just use a $3 roll of tape.

$3 is a price I can get on board with. :thumbs:

I'd probably use $3 roll tape too if was $100 tool. I dont believe in cutting corners with homemade tools. I like to use proper tool for the proper job for safety reasons.

Taping it like this is pretty safe. Its not gonna fall while you're working on it.

i bought a single suction cup from a local parts store and put it on the thewindow just above the belt molding when i change out regulators at work. works for all windows:thumbs:
