Are roll bars make specific? I found some chrome roll bars in late 70's/early 80's ford full size pickup in a junkyard today.

yes they are. do some measurement thow cause you never know. it may work out.

Well its the style curves/slants towards the outer edge of bed then it curves/slants back in.

I'm thinking on turning my 2500 chevy into a redneck truck. I wanna put my body on 4wd chasis, 454 engine, push bar, roll bars, etc.

Those are actually headache racks, not roll bars. Our old site has a bunch of them.

Correct me if I'm but if anything the roll bars wont extend out on the sides far enough since fords have narrow beds and chevy have wider beds.

Those are actually headache racks, not roll bars. Our old site has a bunch of them.

He's talking about roll bars, headache racks are a completely different animal however equally useless in a rollover. Only way the roll bars will do you any good is if you cut a hole in your bed and they mount directly to the frame.
