Winter wear on my new rims!?

Will the snow and road salt ruin my Moto Metal 951's im pretty sure there machined? so I think im just gonna put on my old shitter rims for the winter haha.

We don't get snow here but everything I have seen our Northern buddies post says PUT ON THE WINTER RIMS!

Are they the ones in your avatar? If they're the black ones, I wouldn't be worried about runnin' 'em in the winter.

I just switched out my winter rims last wednesday.... Cost me about $160 a year...

damn at that price I might as well buy a decent pair of winter tires to keep on the rims..:facepalm:

but if you have the extra set, switch them out... why chance it! My winter rims are shit, but they keep my summer ones nice!

Cost me ~$75 to get the rims switched out, balanced, rotated. Gotta do it in the spring when it gets nice and winter when I take them back off

You should just bite the bullet and mount different tires up on your winter wheels and swap them out yourself. That $160 a year adds up plus it's a pain in the ass. I've done it but I finally just bought a second set of tires and it's so much easier now.

I just swapped to my winter wheels which are the steelies that came on it. They're ugly, that's for sure, but better than messing up my others. :ohnoes:

liquid brine salt crap messed up my all terrain wheels when the truck was 2 months old
