Hey Faisal!

He has done a good job with it. I don't think he has had it on a dyno yet.

Heads and intake seems to be the place where you never get the return for the money spent. I was looking at the FAST or the edelbrock intake and they are all around 800-1K. ridiculous for a few high end HP.

I love your truck Dan! Pretty cool video.

I have to disagree with this statement. Heads are where all of the power is made. That is assuming they are well done heads. Good flowing heads are the key to big power.

Not really, for the money the 243/ls6 heads don't seem to be adding as much power as people think on mild cams. It seems to be gaining 12-18hp on hot cams but for a grand for a set of ported 243's it becomes hard to justify.

Jim is correct, I haven't had it on a dyno yet.

As for the heads, if I were to do it, it'd be for the bump in compression. I believe that when milled .035" with stock gaskets on an LQ4 they bring the compression from 9.4 to right around 11.0. The 243/799s flow identically to the 317s I have on there currently.

Well I agree with you if that is all your picking up with that particular head swap. I wouldn't even consider it. I honestly don't know the floe difference between the different stock head flow numbers. For only 12-18 hp difference there cannot be that much flow difference or they are not utilizing a cam that takes advantage of the heads.

Denali cluster?
Yessir.
How does it feel watching the gas gauge drop?:D

Me want your 6.0!
The gas mileage really isn't that bad. I'm getting the same fuel economy now as I was before I replaced the plugs and bad cats on the 4.8. And you can have this 6.0, as long as the cash you give will pay for a 6.2L for me. :D2

Thanks. And yeah, it's a bit funny seeing it shift at 6200 when the tach only goes to 6k.
