I have a 02 f150 5.4, will a 6.8L from a 02 f250 fit. And if it does what other modifications would i have to do to make it fit. And would i have to switch the transmission out ?

I think what limits you is the deck height.......

BUT...they can cram a 6.8 into a Crown Vic...so anything is possible...but I can tell you...it would not be anywhere close to a direct swap. It would take some considerable of work to get it in there.

So in the short research I just did on the net, I found others talking about the crown vic with the 6.8L conversion, a mustang with the 6.8L conversion, and an f150 with a v10 conversion. Everyone talking about this swap on other sites all agree that to make the 6.8L fit would be very difficult but having a decent body lift would help open up some space.
