If all you are going to do is keep your stock power, a 10 bolt with a Detroit Tru Trac in it will be plenty.

Well, I do plan on a v8 swap...
I'll look for a 14 bolt
Well even a 10 bolt can handle a v8 swap. Unless you plan to get around the 600hp mark, a 10 bolt will be fine.

:werd:

No need for the extra weight of a 14b unless you plan on beating the living F*CK out of it with HUGE power and bigass tires IMO.

i know were you can get a 14 bolt FF for probly zip all, you just have to take the rust bucket attached to it. :D

i like the FF 14 bolt causes its so damn easy to work on, my favorite one to work on, aside from a ford 9". :dunno:

You know dennis there are a million ford trucks in this country with 9"ers hanging under them too...:dunno: you could always get axles made with the bolt spacing you prefure, there are hundreds of comapnies that specialize in modifying the 9"around.

Dennis, have you said what you're doing (or planning on) yet?

Knowing you, you won't tell until you have the parts and then you still won't say.
