Chevy or Dodge - Help Me Decide?

Why not also consider a Ford? Better resale than the Dodge and options a plenty.

I looked at the Ford - nice truck, but to get it equipped the way I want, it gets pricy really fast. The 4.6 and 5.4's seemed sluggish to me.

The 5.4 are sluggish. Until you put duel exhaust and a CIA on it Mine sure improved on HP and response once I did that. I want it tuned, but not until the warranty runs out.

Imo they are still slugs with exhaust and an intake mod. And '04 - '06 runs a risk of running lean with an aftermarket intake, so stock is best until custom tuned for it.

With my custom tune, it blows away Z71s and kicks dust in Hemi quad cab's faces.

Just get it tuned. These trucks dont really need the warranty anyways

I have always liked the GMC front ends better. Compare them both you will see what I mean like my son in law bought a GMC Tahoe for my daughter because it looks much better.

The truth is there is no truth...

You will not know untill you test them all out and take em for drives....Chevy fans and owners will say chevy, Dodge fans and owners will say dodge. The truth is to find what you like/want and to test them all out and see wich is best. This is not my opinion, This is a fact. We all know it. Unless everyone here has driven and tested all the new Fords,chevys, and dodges we dont know whats best. But you will if you drive em all. Either way, you will be satisfied with what you chose cause its what you liked the best out of em all and not what somone told you you should get or what they thought was best.

So go drive some fordschevysndodges and come tell us what you think

You've had 5 GM Trucks...and they all treated you well like you said...SO I think go with the GM. Your used to it...and its obviously what you like. I would still go try the Dodge, what the heck, won't hurt. But I think you will come back to the Chevy and buy that. And I say go Chevy as well!

Thanks for the replies fellas! Most likely gonna get another GM. Hell, the damn thing took the impact like a champ and kept me alive, so I kinda' owe it to myself to get another one, eh? Hehehe...
