Yo Buddy. Just wanted to let you know. I sold my Monza today. Its gone. I also thru in your old rear end on the deal, so I finally got rid of the hunk of iron too. This guy has a nice 80 Sunbird and he is gonna V8 so he needed mine for some parts and I told him if he is gonna V8 it, he is gonna be breaking some rear ends. He said he knows and also why he is buying this car. So then I told him, I have another spare rear end too if you want it. He said sure. So no more Monza parts around here anymore.

That's ok by me. I'm thinking of just building the monza for now and putting the trk on the back burner-i'm thinking of putting that cam i have it the trk in the monza and the alu. intake and the 750 eldrobroke carb...it would only take some gaskets and fluids to do it all and that monza would be hard to catch.

Im back at the 66-yea!-I found out that the engine problem was ---it had 305 heads on a 350 block not set up for 305 heads-wow-i was stumped matter of fact i have on a engine stand a bored 30 over 350 chevy with low compression pistions.And the engine in the 66 is a reg. stock 350 engine that 305 heads were put on.It raised the compression to high-it ran but had a sound like the timing chain was loose hitting around at idle but once you gave it gas it was ok.So im going to take the 305 heads that was on the 66 350virgin and put them on the engine stand engine that is a 350 bored 30 over with the low compression pistions needed for 305 heads and find some 350 heads for the 350 in the 66. The compression was 155psi to 185psi-the highest number was when it was warm and by the time i got done the engine was cool and i was getting 155psi in the 66 with the 350 with 305 heads.

66 when I went down home the last time my brother was at my dads house with some friends and one of them had a truck like yours with a LS engine she sounded awesome. Keep up the good work.

Ok-this is what im doing to the 66-im yanking the engine-im putting a 350 bored 30 over with low compression pistions and putting on 305 heads on it putting in a cam with a 454lift-110lobe-272duration-rpm 1800 to 5400-double roll chain-new lifters-new pushrods-new stock rockers--headers with dual exhaust-rpm performer alu. eldrobrock intake good up to 6200rpm-600holly carb.-Hei with a weight set-electric fuel pum-electric fan-cold ram air intake-has no power sterring(66 didnt)-its got a 3 speed stick on the floor with a 12 bolt one legger i think it has 3.08gears-i'll put a smaller harmonic balancer pully on it also-thats about it i think for now---what ya'll think? And this will be done-soon-hopefully mostly by this wed.

Anyone tell me whats a 350 engine that has 2 bolts in the front-then 4-then 4-then 4-then 2 again on the mains for the crank

I still have a little ways to go but not that much-tomorrow is sunday and im off so i get the whole day on it and i think i'll get to start it tomorrow.I have taken some pics in the process of putting it together and the one engine i pulled out of it...i'll get those on here before to long.Hmmm-the video-i think i can get that done-if i can get it running tomorrow i'll see if i can put a video of it running on here and show the whole trk as it is-stay turned.
