What does one cost local? I'm saying that because if you buy it local you get life-time warranty. Maybe all you need is new brushes. Save money and do it yourself it super easy.

PS-You can't mess it up if it's messed up already. Again I say it's easy it can cost you less than $6.00 dollars to fix.

well I only have a 105 amp alt, and running a amp hungery system in my truck that see voltage drops to 11 or so while driving at 2500 rpm, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative then going with a HOP alt...can I upgrade my current alt to 145 or higher?

The belt will be different when going from a 105 to a 145.

I was talking about the plug.

But how is the belt different? I never noticed when R&R alternators.

Just found it.

The pulley size is a tad bigger. The 105alt uses a 13/16" x 92 7/8" belt the 145, a 13/16" x 93 5/8" belt. I'd say 1/2 inch shouldn't make a difference, but knowing Murphy, it will.
