That Subaru can actually use the power too. We test drove a new Altima 3.5R and the damn thing had TOO MUCH power. I realize that sounds absurd, but the possessed front wheels were always spinning and that sucks in a corner. I can't imagine it being any fun on wet roads. 270 HP is too much for a FWD small car to handle correctly. It would have to be RWD or AWD for me to want it.

Yeah, I hear ya! The 200 hp in the TSX I had got rather squirrelly on wet streets when the front tires got a little worn.

Yeah, cars are getting too outta hand. I had an 04 Malibu with the 201HP 3.5L V6. It had plenty of torque down low and had absolutely no problems keeping up with traffic, catching holes merging, or passing. It'd hit 35MPG on the highway all day, every day running 75. Hit 40 going to Ruidoso every time as well and it's uphill :dunno:

I'm thinking about topping off the tank and go run a couple hundred miles this weekend, just to see how she does on the road..

FWD just isn't a good chassis for power. A RWD 500HP car is WAY more controllable than a 250HP Front driver... especially in the wet.

With your 250HP and AWD you get the best of both worlds.

Yeah, I'm really liking it so far! Good mileage when cruising. Pretty good handling (for the size of car it is and the ground clearance it has) in the corners..

I think it took off a little better than my dad was expecting too... :D

DOH! Is this the first you've seen of the truck being gone?

Yep, been busy :dunno:. Sorry to hear of the loss, but hopefully the new car treats you well :)

Thanks, Jenna! I hated to see the truck go, but it was something I needed to do...

So far, me and the new car are getting along well.. Anna is still sniffing everything like crazy.. The first time or two into the garage, she just stopped, looked at the car like "wtf!?" then went in and started sniffing everything..
