I don't blame the dealership for taking the Gunners over those :puke:

I agree. To be honest, I never cared for them, myself... :dunno:

I just got to see the "New Wheels" in person and it is definitely a cool ride.

:thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks, Robert! Oh, I can give you that disc back.... It won't work on his new system.. :uhoh:

So, is this like my thread was and you tell us its a loaner while your truck gets a sweet ass paint job? :jester:

Nice car man!

When did you get a sweet-ass paint job?? :jester:

Sadly, no, this is not a thread like that.. I'll miss the truck. But, I'm movin' the 22 mpg on in-town driving.. and that's not all babying-it-around, either.

Sorry, man! I don't want the back of my car to look like your bald head! :jester:

 I figured someone would eventually bring that up!

The brand preferences diverge after Saab. For lesbians, the number two brand in terms of over-representation is Scion, followed by Jeep, Subaru and Saturn. For men, it’s Audi, then Mini, VW and Jaguar.

Yeah, I guess I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body then!

I didn't know Michael was leaving the site?

Michael's leaving??

subies are nice rides for sure. i take it this doesnt have the turbo? their symetircal AWD is nice as hell and one of the best out there

Thanks! Nope, no turbo.. The 6-cylinder puts out 256hp, which is 'enough' for this car.. I looked I think it was the Foresters.. They have a 4-banger with a turbo or the 6-cylinder without the turbo.. The 4-banger with turbo only cranks out 10 more hp (if that) and they wanted the same price or more for the turbo version.. I'd rather have a 6 that doesn't have to be wound so tight to get performance out of it. :dunno:

Now, if I come across a turbo kit for the 6-cylinder... hrmmmmmmm.. That'd probably be a few years down the road, though, before I'd consider doing that..

Michael! NOoooooooo!

 Whaaaat??? :D2

Y'know, whoever buys that SD is gonna get one NICE truck:thumbs:

Thanks! I thoroughly enjoyed it! If I could've made it and the new budget work together, I probably wouldn't have traded it. But, things change......

That Subaru can actually use the power too. We test drove a new Altima 3.5R and the damn thing had TOO MUCH power. I realize that sounds absurd, but the possessed front wheels were always spinning and that sucks in a corner. I can't imagine it being any fun on wet roads. 270 HP is too much for a FWD small car to handle correctly. It would have to be RWD or AWD for me to want it.

Yeah, cars are getting too outta hand. I had an 04 Malibu with the 201HP 3.5L V6. It had plenty of torque down low and had absolutely no problems keeping up with traffic, catching holes merging, or passing. It'd hit 35MPG on the highway all day, every day running 75. Hit 40 going to Ruidoso every time as well and it's uphill :dunno:
