And for real, that is alot of weight, even with the 454 TBI or Carbed, unless you do some mods to it, I still think you'll need to gear down. This sounds like a 4.56 ratio truck, but on the bright side, this one is the one with the SM465? You would be OK using granny low to get it rolling, and no OD, so if you have 4.10's in it now, you oughta be fine.

You need to get off that 16.5 rim stuff buddy. Thats Old school and those tires are uncommon now which means they'll be expensive. You are better off finding you a set of factroy GM 17inch.Well if can 454 vortec I'll regear to 4.56 cause I also want to run 35's with 3in body lift and spindle lift on 16.5 rims.
