That wasn't intentional, T.. I just didn't know he was moving..

This thing seems like a good idea, but I've been trying to think of how to properly use it in the truck vs. in the house (where it seems like it was designed for) and it seems like it'd be a PITA to put into a pickup.. A neat idea. I'm just not sure what implementation would be like.. at least not in my truck.

I just gave away one of my dogs. Still have to find a home for the other one before I move.

Where are you moving to?

Baton Rouge. I decided I'm quitting my job here and moving. Still don't know for sure when, but we'll most likely wait till the end of the school year so the kids don't have to switch schools in the middle of the year. Thats why I sold my ATV and getting rid of my trailer and dogs and everything.

Well, at least it sounds like it won't be "just you" moving.

Too bad my dog being in the truck isn't temporary. My only permanent solution would be to shave my dog. I don't think she'd like that.

Then again, it's part of having a Husky. They are amazing dogs...most people just can't handle the shedding.

As much as possible. I try to get her out to the baseball field every day, if possible. If not I at least take her out with me when I go to grab a bite to eat. She loves riding in the truck. They aren't long rides by any means....it's just that she sheds so often that the windows being down blows it everywhere.

I just try to keep on top of it with a hand vac. Sometimes (like during the school year) it's almost impossible, though, so it just builds up.



I really hate that my carpet gets covered in dog hair, but I love my dog more than my truck.

$10 for 100sqft is cheap enough to give it a shot, right?

If I use it in the 'Hoe, I'll probably still lay a blanket over it, for the dog's comfort, so that should prevent the claws from tearing it. There will obviously be some cleanup still to do on the plastic parts, etc., but if this keeps me from having to vacuum all of the carpet inside like I normally have to do, it'll be $10 well spent.

I'd burn mine to the ground before I'd let something happen to my dogs, so I completely understand.

BUT, I might suggest using something like this until those moments where you need it clean for a date, etc., and then peel it up just for that. You could leave it on the carpet the rest of the time to save yourself the hassle on those special occasions where you actually need it completely clean.
