You can probably fit an NV4500 in there :dunno:

The T56 from RS Gear will work too... But I'm not sure what it's rated for towing wise... Tremec doesn't recommend it

It should stand up to a good flogging in the mud though... When I get money... I'll find out

Nice...let me know!

Nice work Dan! although we did a cam swap with pushrods, and spring swap in about 4 hours and that included taking the whole front of the truck apart. :jester:
JFWY! I would go slow and take your time. don't want to have to do it twice. Hope the cam come soon.

Yeah I was working with my Dad (well, he would hold things when I needed :D), and I stopped a few times to let him figure out what was going on. He was a bit in awe at the fact that we were actually inside an engine. I also had to explain what everything was when my Mom walked by.

And yeah, I hope the cam gets here by Friday so I can get it done this weekend. Picked up all the gaskets I'll need, and the front seal on the timing cover. Debt is starting already.

I also called FLT, and Andy recommended the level 5 with the billet output shaft. $2750 shipped. I'm not really sure the $450 for the billet output shaft will be worth it for me... That's a LOT of money, and I'm not going to be putting out THAT much power.

Its a lot of money but you know that once you get that power craving you will want more. I bet once you have enough money, you buy a used turbo kit and let that 6.0 EAT!

If that does happen though, I'm going to need a lot more than a level 5...

We'll see, I'll research some stuff. I do trust Andy, but his job is also to sell things.
