Best Mechanic Gloves?

Like others say I lose feel with thick gloves, but I still like to get a good grip on stuff. I wear disposable gloves. Black because they look cooler than pale white.

It doesn't offer heavy-duty protection, but the black ones I buy are thicker than your regular "doctor's gloves", so they do help against scrapes and scratches.

yeah I use those every now and then too, but I think I may just pick up some ones I saw at Home Depot today for like $10 good grip on the palms and will keep my hands warm in the winter

Those nitrile gloves are pretty good. Pick up a box sometime, they are great when are getting into the really grimey stuff.

If I wear anything, it's the blue ones like what Matt posted. That's usually only if I'm doing something fluid-related, and I have to have clean hands later in the day for some reason.

I hate these hand condoms. My techs whine about this shit all the time. I wrenched for 18 years solid, professionally, before I went into management, and I NEVER wore them. I tried, and I just can't stand not feeling everything.

Then again, my hands are mostly scar tissue now.

We have probably about 10 pairs of Mechanix gloves here, some for gardening, some for the cars, all different styles. Great gloves, we love em!

I use the nitrile gloves when doing greasy stuff...bare handed the rest of the time. I prefer being able to feel what Im working on and chicks dig scars
