looked at some even some basket cases are selling for 5k US.... some as high as 35K US, for great shape convertables.

From the looks of the pics, that Stang is quite restorable. It does not appear to have been sitting all that long though. Judging from the general wear, that 40K is likely at least 140K.

To be honest jim i`d belive it, these cars DONOT live long up north here, road salt would kill that car in 10 years flat if it were driven that long.... Ii`ve seen some muscle cars here with similar mileage look like they were lifted from the titanic. :eek:

Without seeing the frame and underbelly, the value could be $10k or $2k. :dunno: I wouldn't consider it a basket case. People have started with a lot worse before :eek:

Its the second place I look on these finds.

*Edit* As with any car find, look over it very carefully and understand what is needed and what it will cost to restore. Then add 30% to it to be on the safe side for the hidden surprises.:jester:

They can be money pits.
