Abandoned Ford Mustang

So I went to my buddies farm today to drop his sister off. We went out back, and this caught my eye. Apparently his Dad's friend just left it here years ago. Car only has 40,846KM (25,000MI) on it. I found the keys under the hood, but it didn't start (bad battery). Anyone know what year it is?

Only the driver side floor board is rusting through. I'll ask my Dad.
