What are you using for paint care products?

I have a mix of MeGuiars, Sikkens, Glasurite, products myself. Most of which I picked up the habit of using when in the paint and body shop business.

They work well but I'm always interested in hearing what others are using.

I usually use Meguire's Gold Class paste wax, but last time I tried the NXT liquid wax. I have to say I like the Gold Class better.

BTW, I really should wax my truck sometime soon. I've been too lazy though....

I like Meguiars products and PDP which is made and available locally through a body shop supplier.

Meguiars is adequate at best. NXT and Gold Class do not last long at all. I use that stuff to wax my undercarriage and frame :smile:.

I've been using Wolfgang Fuzion wax:

It is not cheap at $175 a can, but it is well worth it. I have never used a wax that lasts so long and looks so deep. Highly recommended.

Wax is generally the last step though, prep work is really what makes a shine. Clay bar, high quality polish, paint sealant (ie Zaino or Klasse), glaze will make paint look sharp before the final layer.

A good buffer is nice to have also.

PDP is Professional Detailing Products. I am fairly certain they are made nearby here and mostly sold in a small region. They have a full line of products from car washes and waxes to full compounds for paint damage correction as well as towels and pads etc. I think most of their business comes from dealers and professional detailers.

There is not a ton of info on either site. Ohio Auto is also an AC Delco parts supplier.

got some mothers chrome polish, mothers dash and interior stuff and got some turtle wax super hard shell wax for exterior...
