400 grit stones are on the way ...
I left .0005" in the bores for the 400 to hone out ...
After that is done, it'll be at the finish size of 4.310" ...
Been in the mode of installing the oversize valves in my 781 heads ...
Had to buy more tooling to open up the bowls and cut in the intake seat ..

Real close to where the seats needs to be at ...
Some burr action will go down soon and a bit of chamber work ..

Speaking of cheaping out ...
Those cutters was far from cheap !!
For what I'm out $$ on the tools and parts that I'm throwing at these heads, could have bought a set of Hi-Po's that are bolt-on and go ...

Chamber mods are pretty much done on one ..

Now to do the other 7 ..
Got a little work to do with notching the bores ..
Edit; Didn't do this work on the block.
Got a new game plan going down ...

This work is called Unshrouding valves ..
These mods can lead to increased airflow, improved combustion efficiency, and potentially more power, especially in engines where the combustion chamber size or shape restricts airflow.
Keep in mind it's just a dang old truck with big balls !!

Dang balls just got bigger with the new game plan ..
