My point is they should've just produced more jack-in-the-box hybrid cars.

Why?

Those cars suck. You do realize this is "TruckModCentral"...Not "Econoboxes-R-Us", right?

Yup. You should actually see it in person to really amaze yourself, it is truly bullet proof.

GM and Dodge are going to be doing some real catch up... and I'm a GM truck guy!

They need to be anyway.

I don't think GM needs to be spending resources developing a halo truck and chasing the Raptor's 1200 sales. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.

I would much rather GM continue to update their untouchable powertrains and continue to make their trucks the best on the market.

That is how GM needs toi get people in the showroom.....not a truck that no one will buy...but looks cool getting air in pictures.

+1

i.e. The Camaro doesn't sell in high volume, but it sure as hell gets people in the showroom. THAT is what GM needs right now more than anything...people in the showrooms.

GM needs to keep what they are doing but they also need to add something or better yet partner with someone to make a badass truck.

Right...

IF GM was in good shape...hell yeah, waste some cash on an un-needed halo truck.....

This is why the Volt pisses me off. GM has been on life support for MANY years yet they continued to dump money into the car...which will flop.

GM needs to focus on making their everyday, volume vehicles the best in the segment...and not on silly halo vehicles. They have a few V-series Caddys, the 'Vette, and the Camaro. That's enough.

I respect your opinion, but you have no clue what you are talking about. :p
