Thanks! Yeah, i love the K5's.. This is my 6th one i think.... I've got two 84's right now. My other one (The one i started to build), needs some reconstructive surgery in the body mounts and floor pans. I might build it later on.

As for now i'm going to keep plugging away at this one. Me and one of my freinds, We ran his truck for the passed 2 years. I think we are going to run mine this year. Might get his back together. Money is the limiting factor. We both put every extra penny we have in the trucks,lol....

6inch cowl hood, Its got 6inch lift springs on the front and stock rear springs. The big block really puts a dampner on the front spring lol... But to get the body on it its got about a 4inch body lift.... Its not actually a body lift, we just couldn't get the body any lower since we did the body swap. It sits lower in the rear, In one of those pictures its got 39.5's on rear and 38.5's on front, And it looks level.

We'd like it to be lower, but don't wanna cut up the body to run the 39.5's.... Some tracks we run the 39.5's if we are going to be in the mud. Most tracks were its just a "race" the 38.5's is what we run.:tmc:

Yeah, I liked the 95's the best... They had the new interior but still had the TBI...
First time I ever heard that. The MPFI was a huge improvement in power and reliability over the TBI setup...

Both were solid engines. The old 350 was a beast for many years!

This is my 1990 350, 193,000 miles. NO carbon build up. Disregard the scoring, it wasn't my fault.

Nice, Thats clean! On propane or something?...

468 About 15 passes on motor over the last two years. Waiting on someone to sponsor us a set of decent heads. lol...So if you got a spare set of Darts or Brodix just laying around, Send em over!

...

I finished up the frame tonight... When i quit working on it the other day, I was alittle scared how it came out, Afraid it would look nasty because we brushed the paint on pretty thick... But damn, its slick as a ribbon and shines really good... Redneck powdercoat lol....... Its taking away to set up, With the cold weather...

Went and picked up all new u joints... Its going to have to have a weird joint in the rear now, If you want to swap a 12 bolt rear end into your 10 bolt truck you will need u joint number 372 ...Oreillys had it in stock.

One of the drive shafts is cleaned and primed.

Started to pull the rear end apart, and the pin is stuck in the spider gears. Guess i'm going to try to torch it out.

Also, if anyone knows anything about differentials. I've not searched alot. Probably will tomorrow while at work

But, On the rear end, I'm guessing its got 2.73 gears.. I know the front is 2.73's. The rear has no numbers saying what it is.. And i can't get the pinion to count it,yet. Anyways, the ring gear is a thin ring gear. The 4.56's i've found for a 12 bolt say "thick" ....

I'm guessing the thicker gear takes the space for the smaller pinion? So i should be good?
