Tell me about it. I need to replace a bunch of front end parts (tie rod ends, ball joints, and stuff; got a shimmy/shake going on when weight is taken off the front end). I wanted to get it done before spring, but its been so damn cold and not working much right now has made money tight.

Yeah most shops won't even allow me to do any of the work. Believe me, I've asked it lol. Idk, my buddy with that maroon gmt 400 has a painter so i might check that out. I need to be fast like a rabbit though, times tick'n haha

What if you sanded them yourself? It takes a lot of time, but it pays off in the end. I'm sure places don't want to paint plastics because they are afraid of what happens when its done incorrectly.

I don't have any exterior pieces to paint, all mine are interior and small, so I've never asked around in my area.

Bad economy got to him, throwing too much of his own money into the buisness. He closed a few months ago. Now I need to find another shop willing to paint textured plastic :/ What sucks is he did such a good job on my textured plastics, most shops wont even touch em...

Did he have really good pricing? Did he say why he closed?
