Get a Yukon XL Denali and don't look back. We love the extra room in the Burb over the Acadia. So nice to be able to have all the seats up and still have room for Hunters wheel chair in the back.

I'm looking at both the standard Yukon and xl.

I would definitely get the xl if it would be my primary people mover, but I'll have the truck and Lauren's van so I'm good with what ever I find.
The XL will tow better...

Really?

I have been going off of the GM website and the xl has 300-400 lb lower tow rating. One of the main reasons I was looking regular.

It will feel more comfortable while towing.

I think it's the longer wheelbase that helps.
It was like that with the GMT400s, anyways...

Ask them for a loaded test drive, lol. Our dealerships do.

Because it weighs more. The GVWR is lower because it hits the number faster.

Longer wheelbase will tow better, as a general rule.

Just get the HD. Settled

Duraburb! Or find an 8.1. A little older, but a beast.

It's a half-ton... The other one is 3/4 or 1 ton.

What year is yours?

Do you have the 6 or 8 speed?

Justin says the 8 is worth it, but 15s are easier to find used that is.

We got a 16 Suburban LTZ. It has the 6sp. I wanted the 6.2 but Chevrolet doesn't offer it in the Suburban. We got a really good deal on the LTZ. The Denali was way more.

Justin also told me to run at least 89 octane in it until I get it tuned.

The weathers going to be really nice this week and I'm going to probably change out the front and rear differential and Tcase fluids to AMSOIL.

I'm pleased with it so far we've been averaging 20 miles per gallon which is more than we were getting in the Acadia.
