WTH Chevrolet?

Sucks that happened but I gotta ask WTF? I have never scraped anything on a car/truck with a razor blade.

I worked in a glass shop years ago and got in the habit of doing it. Get's them clean of the bug guts, tree sap and water spots. Go over them with windex or cleaner of your choice. Real glass will not be harmed by a steel razor blade.

Y'all must have some fast bugs in Texas if you were scraping bug guts off your rearview.

Well I was scraping spots off the side mirrors, not really bugs. We have BIG bugs, not so fast though.

Damn, that sucks. At least you can get some red capped ones now!

Those caps are removable and can just be swapped or painted.

Didn't know that. Why don't more people paint theirs then to match their damn truck.

I've replaced a few of that style of mirrors and they have all been glass. I dont know that they ever tryed plastic?
