Almost doubles what I get.

Its almost triple what I get during everyday driving in my Burban. But double what I get on the highway.

That's because you're not turning the truck off while driving down the highway.

That is part of what they did to get that mileage.....which makes the mileage they got completely irrelevant.

The first time he suggested it, I hesitated. After all, I'd never tried to drive a vehicle at 45 miles per hour with the engine completely off. But here I was, cresting a long hill on a highway somewhere in Oklahoma and Wayne Gerdes was saying in a strong voice, "Do a FAS. Turn it off, turn it off. Shift to neutral, then turn it off." I followed his instructions, finally, and hoped that the nice people from CleanMPG who were in the truck with me were not going to get hurt when we crashed.

They also over filled the fuel tank...by 10 gallons. That is not good for your fuel system.

I wish I could over full by 10 gallons. A 800 mile tank would be awesome.

The turning off during hills is booty, terrible for the trans and a dumb idea.

I really don't think anybody is saying that you will get this kind of mileage out of this truck picking up little Billy Bob at soccer practice and heading over to get a burger.

This is simply somebody hypermiling an ecoboost truck. Take it for what it is.

I hypermiled old hemikiller this week and got 16.7mpg this last tank.

If the guy has a truck but wants this mileage he should get a diesel swap. But getting the engine off is for the guys who use a Prius or a Fusion hybrid...
