Window tint..

so im about ready to get the front window of my truck tinted. Not sure on what i want.. eithe the whole window tinted or the strip on the top and on the bottom.. leaving an untined gap in the middle.. for night vision. 2 of my friends have each.. i like both... the darker inside the truck.. the better... keeps the inside temps cooler fo sho. what do you guys prefer on the front window?

yes i know the shits illegal.. but when ur lifted up... its hard to even see.

A strip at the top maybe...

I've seen a lot of 35% windshield tint here in Texas. It's illegal as hell but I have two friends that run it. I don't believe either one has ever been stopped but I rode in one of their cars (a 350Z Nissan) that had it at night and WOW is it hard to see anything that isn't bathed in light. Everything not directly lit up just disappears. I couldn't handle that myself.

My truck has well beyond legal darkness on the side windows but I can still see out the front!

yeah.. my buddy that rolled his f-250.. that i posted in the fail section.. his new silverado has the whole window tinited... its like 30 i think.. the whole truck is black.. and its a challenge at night fo show. thats why i think i want the top and bottom.. so i can see out the middle. i just hate the glare off my hood... the bottom strip would stop it.

So would sunglasses.

I say just do the top. The middle being un-tinted sounds like it would look goofy to me.

one big fear of having the WHOLE window tinted is getting into a wreck.. somehow my fault..and i get sued for having an illegally tinted windshield. i know someone would pull that card. i think imma just do a nice big strip at the top. call it a day.

I agree 100%. That way nobody can claim your tint caused a wreck. All that might happen is a ticket... which is no big deal.
