Who here would sacrifice a LIFETIME powertrain warranty?

Would you sacrifice a LIFETIME powertrain warranty for a tune?

I voted wait a little while and then do it.

The predator isn't even available yet. When it is

When it is available... make sure they can really tune the shift points for your transmission. (I don't keep up with Dodges, so I don't know if the transmissions in the new ones are any different than the older ones. Sorry. :dunno:)

I heard the same thing about being able to tune GM shift points, until after I bought my Predator. After going back & forth with them a few times about it, they finally admitted "OH! We don't support the six speed transmission yet, but we're working on it! Soon!!" That was 2 flippin' years ago... They are still claiming "soon!"

Keyword is "claims", but when Mike was asked if he would guarantee it, he declined to answer. He has been asked several times to back up the claim with some proof or a guarantee and he never does it. :dunno:
Agreed. I've noticed that, too. Just like he won't answer any questions about a date for tuning the GM 6-spds or how much longer 'soon' is going to be.....

I am bringing my truck to the dealer tomorrow (Auto Butler and having the squeaky leaf springs looked at) and the tech will be driving it. I aint even gonna bother putting my stock modules in. F*ck it. I aint one bit worried about it.

Ummm...Tuning on a gasser? Honestly unless you drive it like you stole it every freakin second of the trucks driving time then MAYBE something will break because of the tune.

I really would not hesitate to tune a petrol engine. Especially a canned Diablo tune. I quote

As Starsky and Hutch said it best..."DO IT...DO IT..."

I wish I could go with a custom tune, their just isn't any tuners who do Dodge. I am just waiting to see if any problems crop up that should be fixed prior to tuning and it will also give the new tune that hasn't even be released to be tested and any bugs worked out.
