Thanks guys. Yeah, no video yet, I'm finishing my fall term of senior year of college, so I be busy.

Gary, I'm not too worried about the engine. 3 psi of boost is actually pretty minimal. This kit was made to put 5-7 on a stock motor, I just didn't want to go with 5 until I got the trans taken care of.

Eventually I'd like to get some Trick Flow aluminum heads. They have a 72cc chamber, rather than stock 64 cc, so that would drop my compression. They're a pretty penny, but definitely the way to go. After that, some forged pistons, rods, crank, etc. and I could be pushing 8 psi no problem. I don't want to have to run an intercooler so that's probably the highest I'll go. Still, I think I'd be looking at 400-450 hp at that point.

Looks like you have a pretty good plan,400-450hp sounds healthy

Got a question though....how did you mount the TBI unit to the Whipple?Hard to see but it looks like it's mounted sideways at the rear.

Yeah, the throttle body basically gets rotated backwards. So the front of it now faces up at about a 60* angle.

Yes, stock exhaust manifolds. Except for a chip and K&N CAI, this engine was as stock as it gets. I plan on going with Summit's ceramic shorty headers. $300 for ceramic coated is about as cheap as it gets, and they look to be nice enough quality.

Yeah, I'll get to cleaning it soon. This thing was always maintained, just not always cleaned or loved as much as it could've been. Never garage kept, never waxed before I bought it. Not sure if the engine bay has ever been cleaned.

Jack, they let you on here? :ohnoes: haha, thanks man. Been a long time coming. Wanted one of these pretty much since I learned they were out there.
