Ok, so Mark come in tonight and said that we could sell the MG for 12K. Clutch works now as do the brakes. Everything else is like new and original. So we'll see. If we have to move to Pax River, that is on less car we have to ship. We are looking at shipping 3 right now. 3600 mile drive would be hot and slow for the old Rovers. Plus gas for my '04 at 11 MPG. OUCH!!!!
So my answer has changed depending on circumstances. If it sells, though, I'll always be kicking myself for letting it go.

Never look back if you sell an MG. Think of all of the money you'll save in the next few years by not owning it.

I say keep it....but then I also know all the work and time you've put into it. Besides trying to get a decent price for it now will be really tough, whereas in the spring it should be easier if your still set on selling it.

If you do sell....you know somebody thats supposed to be getting one of these to fix up (if I ever find time to go pick it up:fume:) that might be talked out of it one day....

We have worked hard enough on it now that all it required is a good eye and ear for regular maintenance. Now that I have said that, something major is going to go wrong. :uhoh:

The brake cylinder, clutch master and slave rebuild kits were less that $25 and we had a free shipping coupon. About every 4-6 months, we have to dump a total of about $300 or so into all three old ones. That beats having any type of truck note. I think. And we do all our work ourselves with the kiddos helping, so we save there. We would never be able to afford to have someone else do regular maintenance on these things.

There the the "MG Guy" here on island and he's willing to pay around 10-15K once he goes over it. None of the MG's he has now even come close to the condition of what Daisy is. So I feel good.

I'll load up my uncles trailer on your trailer, and go pick it up tomorrow

As for the truck... There will be times where you really regret selling it... But every time you hit the go pedal with the maggie... You'll ease the pain :D
