What type of work do you do in your shop?

At your home garage/shop what do you do mostly? Work on cars, metal fab, woodworking, something else? If you do it all which do you prefer? My garage sees a little bit of everything but I would say at this point it is predominantly metal fab. If the price of materials (both metal and wood) keep going up the way they have been I will have to update the poll to include a none of the above option.

Cars lately but I have had some pretty good wood projects going on in the garage over the years. Still not enough room though to do much of anything comfortably though.

I really love woodworking but it seems to take more patience than I have, so does metal to a point but if metal turns out ugly I slap a coat of paint on it and call it done. Plus it's way more manly feeling to be throwing sparks around.

Someday I will have a large enough garage to have 3 separate sections with 1 dedicated to each.

I do mostly small engine repair. I also do woodworking when I need to build something out of wood.

I've always been an enthusiastic woodworker

But I would like to learn to be a welder. Seems easier, 'cause once wood is cut, it's cut.

My buddy down the street has the metal shop with the lathe, mill, drill press etc. We get along quite well.

I voted for Cars/trucks.... but I also do some woodworking. We have a nice lathe and planer but I am running out of available space

My "shop" consists of basically my carport. I mostly do automotive repair and maintenance. I also do a few car stereo and alarm installs there as well.
