I like big inch SBCs. We currently have 4 small blocks sitting in the shop and mine is the smallest (408, 421, 422, and 427)

But, I aint partial. If the bitch sounds good and runs hard I will hammer it

FORD HAS NEVER MADE A 5.0!!! No one calls the 5.4 a 5.5, why is a 4.9 a 5.0?

True but I hear a LOT of GM guys bragging about their 327 (5.3) which is just as wrong. It's what? a 323?

According to the air/oil filter catalog at the auto parts store, when I look up the part number for my 5.3, it says 325.

I've always liked the Chevy small blocks, especially the 350.

I'd go with the 4.3 or the 350. Same difference in design. Rugged and last forever.
