No, no updates yet. I got a call on Tuesday from her insurance and made a recorded statement. Now I'm just waiting for the adjuster to call and make an appointment, and also waiting for them to accept liability.

It's still amazing to me that no one stopped. It seems that people don't have time for other people any more. No one was injured, but there were a half dozen cars right there that would have seen it, and none of them stopped to make sure we were ok, or to give contact info in case we needed witnesses. Amazing.

I'm also amazed at the number of people saying that I could probably make some money by having auto shops over-quote the damage. Seriously?!?!?! That's what's fWONking wrong with this country! As long as it gets put back right, the way it was, then why do I need money? I'm not interested in lying to make a quick buck, I like to work hard for what I earn. Now, if they offered me what they thought it would cost to repair it, and it was cheaper, then I wouldn't have a problem, but I'm not going to make false damage reports.

Had to rant.

I say $2350.49

Consider getting the bumper that has two holes in the center so you can route some air ducts to intake.

Yeah, there's a lot of people that try to take advantage of the system. I've always just wanted what it took to get things fixed and I don't see how they do it though. My hail storm claims were both quoted directly by my insurance company and gave me a check on the spot and on my hit and run the insurance company questioned the body shop quote so came and looked over the truck in the school parking lot while I was in class and even showed up at the body shop after they got the bumper off to verify the hidden damage.
