I don't even know. He said that their tech said that it's adjustment limit was maxed out to 3000. Any more and it would cause unwanted vibrations. I kind of have a feeling that they are trying to screw me since I supplied every part they could need, but don't want to take the chance that I'm wrong.
Well it's done, and I'm $760 lighter. Unfortunately no pics, I had to work. There is a whine at 50-54, but I'm hoping that goes away soon. If not, no biggie. If it gets progressively louder or starts howling, these guys are going to get a call from me. I'm going to try and get a 0-60 time next week after I pass the 500 mile mark, so stay tuned.
I really don't know what's wrong with it, but they told me that it would have to be adjusted way past the 3000 limited (maybe .003's ?) and would vibrate and make more noise. They also said that I would be on my own if it detonated. At least now I know everything is in tip-top shape and have no worries, as long as I break it in properly.
I wouldn't recommend going from 3.55's to 3.73's. You really won't be able to feel the difference. I would sell the 3.73's to someone and put that money towards a set of 4.56's/4.88's if you truck is 4WD.
