I'm not liking the looks of that axle... Have you been getting any noise from it?

been like that for a year, only had noise from it at speeds above 60mph in 4wd and the only reason it vibrated was from the steep angle. its better now if you look at the other pics.

....why are you going above 60 MPH in 4wd?

Nothing really, the poor thing has been neglected. I do need to haul another load of those damn wood shakes from the house out to my buddy's place. They are blocking my driveway.

well auto 4wd and it was on the highway where the speed limit is 65 but had snow on it.

Highway speeds + 4WD = bad idea :uhoh:

I looked at my truck trying to decide if I want to buy a cheap set of car winter tires to smoke

Contemplating buying the same wheels again, buying them back, or did you buy them back?

Kyle did you get em back? I thought you sold them?
He did, but then decided that the truck needs wheels again, but I don't know if he bought any again or not.

Coming up with modification plans...
 Any ideas yet?

Just got home from "vacation". 3hr motorcycle ride there and 3hr back. My ass hurts after coming home (I was fine on the way there). Got 47mpg for the entire 300mi trip. No rain so I'm really happy!! Just extremely foggy on the way there. So bad that I had major condensation on my helmet/visor. It was cool though because as long as I was doing 60+, all I had to do was turn my head slightly to the side (both ways) and the water flew right off.

Started the truck after....wait for it.....being in a garage!!! :willy: for 4 days. It felt good. :D but I remembered that I need to get gas. :( Got it out of the garage and no drips on the floor from the rear diff. Hopefully this means the pinion is fine. I've replaced 2 of 3 seals; only one left is the driver's side so we'll see how long that one takes.

Got my renewal notice for the Silverado. $84 to take care of another year. (currently, it's the only registered vehicle I have that has a renewal; motorcycle has collector plates (pay once and done) and the S10 doesn't have plates yet)
