Did the first oil change on it!

Whatever oil was in it when I bought it went from 65% to 55% in 1200km (745 miles)

Now running Amsoil Signature Series

The OLM doesn't know what kind of oil is in it.......it's all an algorithm of speed/time/load/etc. You will probably see it fall just as fast with your fancy smancy oil.

True... But it idles more quietly, and smoothly now

i was nervous after what happened with the last oil change. took it to the dealer, got the tires rotated too. ready for 2400 miles in 3 days.

No, it doesn't have any more power, it's just a tad more quiet and smooth at idle
