Rolled the tonneau cover up before the storm today. Drove it to get gas in a total of $67 and got 16.36mpg. I'm happy! :)

Ordered some new headlights and parking lamps for the S10.

Also finally ordered the Porter-Cable polisher!!! :willy:

From the Tacoma Owner's manual:

Your vehicle must use only unleaded gasoline.
Select octane rating 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher. Use
of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating lower than 87 may result
in engine knocking. Persistent knocking can lead to engine damage.
At minimum, the gasoline you use should meet the specifications
of ASTM D4814 in the U.S.A. and CGSB3.5-M93 in Canada.

Ah...I just found that and was going to post.:fume:

Thanks Jim.

I know my Frontier said 87 was acceptable, 91 was preferred for maximum performance. It ran noticeably better on 91 (although it never knocked with 87), but the mpg's went down running the higher octane.:dunno:

Ended up driving it instead of the van to Iowa. Came home today, washed all the mud off. Gotta love a gradutation party where you spend three hours pulling cars out of the mud.... Well, I guess the party was in a barn....
