The wife said to me last night, "You're going to be working on my truck this week, so I haven't put any gas in it."

WTF? I'm changing the idler pully and the belt. WTF does that have to do with putting gas in it? :dunno:

Just canceled the order for the parts for my truck and the wife's truck.

I placed the order for the parts last Thursday with Autozone, for home delivery (special order parts not carried in the store). The order was acknowledged when I placed it and I got a notice on Friday that it had shipped via FedEx, with a tracking number.

The tracking number didn't work all weekend and all day yesterday, so I called them today. Now the tracking shows that the order still hasn't actually shipped, but that FedEx was notified to pick up the order late last night.

When I spoke to the customer service rep she tried the old "It's all done electronically - we have no control over it" story, and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. When she finally let me get two words in I told her that as far as I was concerned they'd lied to me when they said the order was shipped (when it wasn't) and to cancel the order because I'm taking my business elsewhere. I will not do business with a company that lies to me or tries to B.S. me, so they've lost all my future business as well.

I can understand your frustration but she was just a CSR trying to smooth things over. Of course she has no clue what the **** is going on. :lol:
