are you getting the switch on the dash? i have one in my garage. its just missing one button... works fine, i used it as a troubleshooter back in the day...
No, it's the encoder motor position sensor, it's in the transfer case shift motor housing. The in dash switch problem has been solved over the years, that is generally not the issue anymore with these trucks. I appreciate the offer though. I replaced mine back 18 months ago and it wasn't the problem, but I tossed the used one in the trash.

I have done one switch to the Tahoe, same exact BS.
Dealership told me I needed EVERYTHING. I did research on GMT, ordered a switch, and it has been fine ever since.
