"That motor runs gooder than hell !"
Scott, do your running boards mount to the cab mount bolts? If so, they make insulators, which are just thin pieces of plastic that prevent the metal/metal rubbing that causes the squeaking.

Gear fluid stinks! I got it on my jacket and I still haven't gotten it out after washing and soaking it 5 times. Oh well.Drove the piss out if it...
New transmission fluid and rear diff fluid gave my truck a bit more oomph!
Found out I need a new t-case check plug before I can change the t-case fluid...
Front diff has a leaky pinion seal, so it's not getting the Amsoil until I know how much it leaks![]()

I've been driving the Silverado all week since my S10 is on jackstands (transmission seal). However, I did finally get a seal for it. I had to go to the Chevy dealer; $17 for a tiny seal. Oh well, only one fits! Now I just need to figure out how to get it in without ruining it (by measuring, a 1 1/2 PVC coupler is the right size). Hopefully I'll have it back together Friday or Saturday.

Drove it to get this stuff:
