Scott, do your running boards mount to the cab mount bolts? If so, they make insulators, which are just thin pieces of plastic that prevent the metal/metal rubbing that causes the squeaking.

Drove the piss out if it...

New transmission fluid and rear diff fluid gave my truck a bit more oomph! :lol:

Found out I need a new t-case check plug before I can change the t-case fluid...

Front diff has a leaky pinion seal, so it's not getting the Amsoil until I know how much it leaks :lol:

Gear fluid stinks! I got it on my jacket and I still haven't gotten it out after washing and soaking it 5 times. Oh well.

I've been driving the Silverado all week since my S10 is on jackstands (transmission seal). However, I did finally get a seal for it. I had to go to the Chevy dealer; $17 for a tiny seal. Oh well, only one fits! Now I just need to figure out how to get it in without ruining it (by measuring, a 1 1/2 PVC coupler is the right size). Hopefully I'll have it back together Friday or Saturday.

My transmission fluid smelled fine...

But man, that rear diff... I don't think I've ever smelled anything so nasty rotten! :lol:

Less IFS, moar SFA :jester::jester:
What's the upgrade, does this have LSD or a better gear ratio?

As to my Jeep, I finished fabbing up the tool to tighten my Rubicon Express superflex joints in my upper control arms- I'm too cheap to spend 60 bucks on the tool, so I welded a flat plate to an OLD iron socket and tacked some small lengths of rod to it. Arms don't move now, and I don't get death wobble after I hit a bump anymore :thumbs:
