My Canadian trucks does not like cold weather, if it sits a day in cold weather (~45 degrees, this is Southern NM) it ticks like a bitch for a minutes or so. I think they brought it south because it was too cold up north for it.

Must be the new GM tech

My Lumina Z34 would fire up no problems @ -45*C, even with the command start...

Though, that tick is probably piston slap, or low quality oil

The Canadian ones don't have fuel mileage in them for the trucks anymore

Let mine warm up (-20C/-4F) before driving to work, drove to work parked in nice warm shop and drove it home. Continued working on custom tailgate bezel.

Tryign to pick a day real soon here, soemtime this week to install my valve body and tranny pan! The stack of parts I have for it in the garage is getting smaller and smaller.
